When Michael "Large" Largasso, the Ruler of Texas rugby, heard about Rugby Club Football, he was there ready to be a part of it. Within a matter
of weeks, he had assembled an awesome side, which he called the Texas Kurps for reasons known only to himself. This side has both speed and size,
which allows them to work second and third phase attacks with flawless precision. In almost every game, their opponents spend most of the game
chasing the Kurps.
If the opposition did break away, they had to deal with Kurt "The Toe" Hammerlin, the fullback and last line of defense of the Kurps.
Blessed with a great vision of the field, he can consistently be in the right place at the right time to deliver a crushing tackle on the fleetest
of backs without hesitation.
His precise punting style allows him to kick for distance and find touch which helps to keep his team close to their opponent.
In a game against the British Columbia Ruks, "The Toe" made seven open field tackles against breakaway backs while preventing the Ruks from scoring.
The Kurps won 21-0, helping them to finish the season with an 12-3 record.
